The Wyatt Collection

$75.00

Our young neighbor Wyatt, came to us one day with a beautiful small multitool knife that had been given to him as a gift. He quickly wore out the Nylon sheath that came with it and commissioned us for a custom fitting one that would last. Thus, the Wyatt collection was born.

Product Description

This style of sheath is formed by wet molding the leather around a wooden form or object to get the perfect fit.

These wet mold sheaths are formed to fit a medium size Multitool Style, Buck 110 style and the very popular LEATHERMAN Wave. Each sheath comes with a belt loop for sliding onto your belt, a solid brass snap closure and a thumb push-up cutout at the bottom to aid in removal from the sheath. Each sheath is made from Wickett and Craig English Bridal leather in 8-9 oz thickness. Edges are glued and sewn adding double strength and lasting durability. Dyed and burnished edges help protect the leather edge and add the final touch to the already beautiful craftsmanship. Your color options include Chestnut, Tan, Black, Medium Brown and Dark Brown. Your Flap style options are Pointed or Rounded.

Remember that we do custom orders, so if you have another knife size in mind head over to our Custom Requests page where you can let us know what your project is.

Each piece of leather is unique and can have different tones and character from the photography. We celebrate the unique character of these natural materials which often include natural scars, creases, brands, etc. that showcase the fact that it is a natural material. Your completed order may have any or none of this unique character when you receive It. We strive to have enough natural material on hand to be able work around the larger character imperfections.

HAND STITCHING

Hand stitching adds a rustic style to any leather product, but it takes more time to do since each stitch is done one at a time with needles and thread. We use a Saddle Stitch method so each stitch is doubled over with the thread making a more sturdy stitch. Hand stitching may have some inconsistencies as each stitched is pulled closed individually. This adds time to the overall product production and time means money, so an added charge will be added to the starting price of any product.

MACHINE STITCHING

Machine stitching will have a more uniform stitch and less inconsistencies, and is less time consuming on a machine that goes much faster than we do by hand. No dditional charges are applied.
